About Me
I’m Kristen Birt.
I support people who feel something isn't quite working, but can't yet explain why.
Many people I work with appear to be coping on the outside while feeling internally strained, disconnected, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to adapt to environments that don't quite fit.
My work provides a structured way to pause, understand what is happening, and move forward with clarity and self-trust.

Lived Experience
Alongside my professional training, I bring lived experience of navigating ADHD, fluctuating capacity, and the cumulative impact of trying to “hold things together” in environments that don’t always support how I think or process.
This is not something I position as expertise over others - but it does inform how I work.
It means I understand, in a grounded and practical way:
-
how internal signals can be missed or misinterpreted
-
how easily capacity can be exceeded without realising
-
how quickly strategies can become overwhelming when clarity is missing
This shapes the way I hold space - with care, structure, and without assumption.
I won’t pretend to know your experience, but I understand the terrain. This work exists because I needed this structure myself.
I understand the relief when something finally makes sense. I understand how destabilising late understanding or burnout can be. And I understand how easily people can be given strategies before they are given clarity.
I understand. I care. I can help you find your own clarity and rebuild your own self-trust.
Professional Foundations
Lived experience is valuable, but it is not enough to hold this work responsibly.
My approach is grounded in the combination of lived experience, formal training, structured practice, ongoing supervision, and ethical standards.
Alongside more than 30 years of experience in people development, coaching, mentoring, learning, and HR, I have completed extensive training in ADHD-informed coaching through an ICF-accredited academy, alongside qualifications in trauma-aware practice, mental health awareness, and behaviour that challenges.
My professional background includes:
-
Executive coaching and mentoring
-
Academic mentoring at postgraduate level
-
Group coaching and facilitation
-
ADHD-informed coaching
-
Neuro-affirming practice
-
Learning and development
-
Human Resources and workplace support
I continue to invest in ongoing professional development, supervision, reflective practice, and the accumulation of coaching hours towards ICF accreditation.
My work is guided by the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. This means maintaining clear professional boundaries, working within scope, recognising when referral is appropriate, and supporting individuals to develop their own insight rather than creating dependency.
Over the past several years, I have researched, tested, refined, and integrated the Whole-Person Clarity Framework, Structured Self-Triage, and Regulated Thinking Loop into a practical approach that helps people understand themselves more clearly before deciding what support, change, or action may be needed.
I do not diagnose.
I do not provide therapy.
I do not position myself as the expert in someone else's life.
My role is to facilitate a structured process that helps people interpret their own experience, develop self-trust, and make informed decisions about what genuinely fits.

How I Work
Many people arrive having spent years trying strategies, solutions, or support that only partially fit.
My approach begins differently.
Rather than starting with intervention or solutions, we begin by understanding what is actually happening.
Using the Whole-Person Clarity Framework, Structured Self-Triage, and the Regulated Thinking Loop, we explore patterns across:
-
brain and cognition
-
nervous system
-
emotions
-
body
-
senses
-
capacity
-
environment
The goal is not dependency. The goal is helping you develop the clarity, language, and self-trust needed to make informed decisions about what genuinely supports you.
I do not diagnose. I do not provide therapy. I do not position myself as the expert in your life.
I facilitate a structured process that helps you understand your own experience more clearly.
